Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the StarPath mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

StarPath is a mobile application that provides cosmic timing guidance, astrological insights, and personalized recommendations based on astronomical data and lunar phases. The App offers both free and premium subscription features.

Free Features

Daily cosmic guidance and vibe
Current moon phase and sign information
Basic timing recommendations
Weekly magic moments preview

Premium Features (Subscription Required)

Personalized timing windows for specific intentions
Detailed 30-day cosmic forecasts
Unlimited intention queries
Advanced astrological insights
Priority access to new features

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Subscription Terms

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

StarPath offers the following subscription options:

Monthly Subscription: Billed monthly
Annual Subscription: Billed annually (best value)

All subscriptions include a 3-day free trial for first-time subscribers.

Trial Period

New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial
You may cancel anytime during the trial period without being charged
If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription
Only one free trial per user

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period
The renewal cost will be the same as your initial subscription price unless we notify you of a price change

Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings
To cancel: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > StarPath > Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
No refunds for partial periods

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time
Price changes will be communicated in advance
Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before a price change takes effect
Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price

Refund Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law
If you believe you were charged in error, contact Apple Support
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee - contact us if you're not satisfied with your purchase

User Content and Data

Your Birthday Information

Providing your birthday is optional but enhances personalization
Birthday data is stored locally on your device only
We do not share your birthday with third parties
You can delete your birthday data at any time by clearing app data

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage data to improve the App
This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by Seventh Dominion or its licensors
Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our content without permission

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

Access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
Use the App in accordance with these Terms

This license does not include the right to:

Resell or make commercial use of the App
Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works
Use data mining, robots, or similar data gathering tools
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App

Disclaimer of Warranties

Entertainment Purposes

THE APP IS PROVIDED FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. COSMIC GUIDANCE, ASTROLOGICAL INSIGHTS, AND TIMING RECOMMENDATIONS ARE NOT INTENDED TO BE PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.

No Guarantees

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

The App will meet your requirements
The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
Results from using the App will be accurate or reliable
Any errors in the App will be corrected

As-Is Basis

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
THIS INCLUDES DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the App's infrastructure
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the App
Impersonate any person or entity
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
Use the App to make critical decisions (medical, financial, legal, etc.)

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your Apple ID
All activities that occur under your account
Ensuring your use of the App complies with applicable laws
Obtaining appropriate internet access and paying associated fees
Any consequences of relying on guidance provided by the App

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

RevenueCat: Subscription management
Apple App Store: Payment processing
Expo: Development platform

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue any feature of the App at any time
Update the App to add new features or fix issues
Change these Terms at any time

We will notify you of material changes by:

Updating the "Last Updated" date
Posting notice in the App
Sending an in-app notification

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

By You

You may stop using the App at any time by:

Uninstalling the App from your device
Cancelling your subscription through the App Store

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you:

Violate these Terms
Engage in fraudulent activity
Use the App in a way that harms us or other users
Fail to pay subscription fees

Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

Arbitration Agreement

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules.

You agree to arbitrate disputes on an individual basis only - no class actions.

Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized use of the App.

Apple-Specific Terms

Apple's Role

Apple is not a party to these Terms
Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App
Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the App
You agree that Apple has no warranty obligation for the App

Third-Party Beneficiary

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you.

Device Requirements

Use of the App requires an Apple device running iOS 13.0 or later.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Seventh Dominion and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Your violation of any applicable laws

General Terms

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Seventh Dominion regarding the App.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

Survival

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property rights, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
